About: The Glendullan distillery uses both sherry and bourbon casks to age this one.
Color: Deep burgundy (blue bottle=lame)
Nose: Subtle perfume, walnut, tangelo. Smooth malt. Underdeveloped but not at all void.
Palate: Barley front, medium thick
Finish: Consistent. Maple syrup
Overall: An acceptable "beginner" whisky at a reasonable price.
